For Young Actors (ages 9-19)

Taught by Nikki Young, President of PrimaDonna Productions, Inc., the film and commercial acting camp is for young actors ages 9-19 and is designed for both beginners and seasoned vets.

Topics and activities covered throughout the course of the camp include:
• The History of the Craft and Industry Terms
• Cold Reading Skills and Script Memorization Techniques
• Slating and Interviewing
• How to Analyze a Character
• And more...

Participants will have an opportunity to develop their acting skills through on-camera performances and will receive a DVD of their performance upon completion of the camp. In addition, they will perform their memorized pieces live for a panel of pre-selected and invited industry professionals.

Young, who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southwest Texas State University (where she specialized in Child Drama), has been coaching kids from stage to screen since the summer of 2000, and has worked with hundreds of kids through camps, churches, film sets, and private sessions.

$300; includes daily snacks and a DVD of the student's performance.
