Heather C. Smith, Educator, Honored by Leading Networking Organization
Heather C. Smith recognized for her professional dedication to education
ATTICA, NY, March 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Heather C. Smith, Fifth-Grade Teacher at Attica Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
Heather C. Smith is hereby recognized for her professional excellence in elementary education as well as her dedication, integrity and innovation in the field. This year, Ms. Smith will celebrate her 8th anniversary as a fifth-grade teacher at Attica Middle School, where she lends her expertise in reading instruction to teach Reading, English and Social Studies. She holds a master's degree in education and reading from the University of Buffalo and a bachelor of arts in elementary education and English from Roberts Wesleyan College. An avid mentor, she has served as a modified swimming coach, a girls' junior varsity soccer coach and modified track & field coach. She has also traveled with the People to People Organization and was able to bring those experiences back to her classroom as well. As she continues in her career, Ms. Smith will seek to further her education.
