Judith A. Flaherty Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Judith A. Flaherty devotes her career to underdeveloped preschoolers

DOWNEY, CA, January 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judith A. Flaherty, Teacher at the Los Angeles County Office of Education, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in special education.

With 10 years of experience in her current profession, Ms. Flaherty's expertise is in behavior modification and teaching alternatives. In her position, she is responsible for teaching preschoolers with autism; this includes setting goals, planning programs and meeting yearly to discuss their developmental growth. Prior to her employment at the Los Angeles County Office of Education, Ms. Flaherty worked at The Beatric State Development Center in Beatrice NE, for individuals with mental retardation 17 years. After her youngest daughter was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, she became inspired to pursue her current career.

Besides attaining clear level II education specialist and CLAD credentials, Ms. Flaherty has participated in post-gradute coursework in public administration. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Rehabilitation.
