Linda Yoshioka's passion for helping students enables her to thrive as a teacher of the Los Angeles Unified School District

LOS ANGELES, CA, October 4, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Yoshioka, Teacher of the Los Angeles Unified School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in elementary education.

As a teacher of the Los Angeles Unified School District, Linda Yoshioka is responsible for assisting and guiding students, developing the curriculum, and teaching first-grade students. She became involved in teaching through her desire to assist children in making the right decision, and she attributes her success to the support she receives from her colleagues and her desire to help students.

Ms. Yoshioka received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from California State University in 1974. In addition to her formal education, she is a certified elementary teacher. She is a member of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, United Teachers Los Angeles, National Education Association, and the California Teachers Association.
