Acquilla Faye McCoy to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Acquilla Faye McCoy celebrates five years as a teacher of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and Owner of Unified Creativity

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, November 3, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Acquilla Faye McCoy, Teacher of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and Owner of Unified Creativity, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for being exemplar of dedication, leadership and excellence in mathematics education and entrepreneurship. She has demonstrated a balance between educating youth in an alternative environment while developing a personal business and mentoring teenage girls.

With five years of experience as a teacher in alternative middle school education for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school system, she is responsible for building efficacy, developing a love for learning, modeling leadership, and collaborating with peers for the betterment of at-risk youth. She is also the owner of Unified Creativity which creates customized candle designs and engravings on various mediums, as well as poetry. Under the Unified Creativity umbrella, Acquilla Faye McCoy provides speaking, tutoring, and consulting services. Over the past five years, she has also begun the process of expanding Unified Creativity to encompass a publishing company and non-profit organization to inspire the creativity and genius in others.

She became involved in education and entrepreneurship due to her lifelong passion for educating others and bringing beauty and joy to the world through her natural ability to lead, create, and love. She attributes her success to God's presence in her life and believes all things are possible through Him.

Ms. McCoy has been devoted to uplifting youth educationally and personally through positions as a mathematics teacher and her role as a leader/business owner. She received her Master's Degree from East Carolina University in 2008, her Bachelor's in Education from Winston-Salem State University in 2005, and will receive her Educational Doctorate from Argosy University in 2012. She is a member of The North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Education Association, the National Middle School Association, and Kappa Delta Pi.
