Ms. Spiegelman earned a Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry at Harvard University (1969) and a Master of Fine Arts in graphic design at the Yale School of Art and Architecture (1972). She has advanced training in neurophysiology, psychology, and anthropology. Marti is a Courtney-Smith-trained trader of stocks, options, and Forex. She is a valued instructional leader at the Investment Mentoring Institute in Southern California and offers her unique course, Conscious Trading through the IMI.

As the founder of the Shaman's Light Training Program: Shamanic Initiation and Mentoring for Professionals Who Want to Make a Difference in the World, Ms. Spiegelman has developed highly respected coursework revealing the principles of consciousness underlying enduring success in business and philanthropy.
