Russell T. Klumpp Recognized for Excellence in Law Enforcement
Russell T. Klumpp is recognized as a leader in public safety for the city of Topeka

TOPEKA, KS, November 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Russell T. Klumpp, Lieutenant for the Topeka Police Department for City of Topeka, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in law enforcement.

Mr. Klumpp has 15 years of experience, including two years as a lieutenant for the Topeka police department. With a background that has aided in his strategic planning proficiency, he maintains an expertise in law enforcement and related services. He works in the professional standards unit and is responsible for addressing public concerns about police officers and other employees of the department. He attributes his success to honorable role models and the tremendous support of his family.

While growing up, Mr. Klumpp had the opportunity to gain insight into his field through participtation in youth programs and college courses. His father served as a police officer, which provided him with second-hand knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the position. He recieved a bachelor's degree in business administration from Baker University in 2007 and is a certified public manager, ethics instructor, and emergency medical technician. A member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the NE Kansas Incident Management Team, the National Aliance on Mental Illness and SafeStreets Topeka, Mr. Klumpp was recognized for his service with a Certificate of Appreciation, Chief's Commendation Coin, Community Service Award, and Agency Commendation Coin. He is pursuing a master's degree in psychology from Walden University and hopes to continue his education by later obtaining a Ph.D in psychology. Mr. Klumpp and his wife also own and operate a nutrition club near Lake Shawnee called Feel Good Nutrition.
