Rose R. Lapomarel Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who
Rose R. Lapomarel received the Shining Star 5-Year Recognition

MIAMI, FL, December 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rose R. Lapomarel, Substance Abuse Treatment Counselor at South Florida State Hospital of The GEO Group, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in counseling.

With 20 years of professional experience, Ms. Lapomarel attributes her success to having the unconditional support of her family. As a substance abuse treatment counselor, she is responsible for counseling men and women suffering from substance abuse, mental health and addiction. She is a member of the Florida Counselor Association and the American Counselor Association.

Ms. Lapomarel is pursuing a doctoral degree at Capella University, and earned a Master of Science in mental health counseling from Capella University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in health care administration from American InterContinental University and an associate degree in medical administration from Florida Key College. Additionally, she holds certifications in substance abuse counseling and addiction counseling and is a behavioral mental health technician.

Ms. Lapomarel received the Shining Star 5-Year Recognition and the Employee of the Month Award, both from GEO Care Inc. She will receive a 10 year recognition award from GEO Group Inc., in May of 2011.
