Vicki E. Pomeroy received the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2004

With 31 years of professional experience, Ms. Pomeroy attributes her success to her attitude. Her responsibilities at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society include facilitating her group, coordinating events, counseling, completing guidance calls and helping people with multiple sclerosis live their lives more easily. She became involved in her profession after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and she wanted to advocate for the disease and help others cope.

Ms. Pomeroy participated in coursework in nursing at The University of Maryland. In 2004, she received the Volunteer of the Year Award from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
