Phillip D. Bowman Derives Fulfillment from Helping People Overcome their Problems

JOPLIN, MO, March 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Phillip D. Bowman, Milieu Therapist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in psychotherapy.

With 18 years of professional experience, Phillip D. Bowman specializes in patient behavioral health and life skills training. As a milieu therapist, he conducts two to three group sessions a day and trains and coaches other practitioners. Mr. Bowman considers helping people overcome problems and challenges to be the most rewarding aspect of what he does. He attributes his success to resilience.

Educated in Canada, Mr. Bowman earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1992 from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational and Recreational Therapy from the University of Alberta -Edmonton. He is affiliated with the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the American Motorcyclist Association and, in his free time, volunteers his services with Catholic Health Initiatives. Mr. Bowman looks forward to conducting research in the field of geriatrics.
