Richard Yaginuma Honored by Leading Networking Organization
Richard Yaginuma raises scholarship funds for underprivileged children in Hawaii
HONOLULU, HI, March 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Richard Yaginuma, President of Kilohana Kai, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nonprofit management.
Driven to give back to the community and especially to its children, Richard Yaginuma started Kilohana Kai 14 years ago. He now lends his talents to raise scholarship money for underprivileged children after having served as a teacher and tennis coach for nearly 44 years. As President of Kilohana Kai, he works with the recipients of said scholarships, as well as collaborates with regional schools and businesses in his area.
Mr. Yaginuma, at the age of 73, is motivated by the success of his children. For them, he sponsors trips to the Hawaiian Islands, Japan and to other states within the United States. He will look to expand his organization and mentor its next leader as he moves forward in his career.
