Chris Halter has received the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his sensational work in the Social Services Industry.

THOREAU, NM, April 7, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Chris Halter has received the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his sensational work in the Social Services Industry. As Executive Director of St. Bonaventure Indian Mission and School, as well as throughout his incredible 20 year career, Chris has consistently performed at a magnificent level.

St. Bonaventure Indian Mission and School is a private, Catholic agency providing the people of the Eastern Navajo Nation the opportunity to develop self-sufficiency through education, employment, housing and outreach services that make available food, water, clothing, and other social services. They provide a tuition-free school for Navajo children which also provides extensive human services for those living in poverty. In addition, they operate a thrift store and are a major local employer.

St. Bonaventure Indian School is a private, Catholic school located at the southeastern edge of the Navajo Nation in Thoreau, NM. The school enrolls approximately 200 students annually from preschool through grade eight, more than 90 percent of whom live at, near or below the poverty level. By respecting both Navajo and modern ways, educators in this Christ-centered environment bring the lessons of each world to the Navajo students for success in both. The school is accredited by the North Central Accreditation Agency.

During his educational career, Chris earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Washington State University in 1991. He greatly enjoys hiking and mountain climbing in the time away from his busy schedule.
