Beverly A. Stanton to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Beverly A. Stanton serves as a chairwoman for Prince George's County Commission for Women

GETTYSBURG, PA, May 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Beverly A. Stanton, Adjunct Professor of Sociology for Harrisburg Area Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

At Harrisburg Area Community College, Ms. Stanton instructs students and delivers motivational speeches. Previously, she was a counselor for the college's science, nursing and allied health division. Ms. Stanton also taught biology, anatomy, physiology and medical terminology at the Harrisburg School District. With 30 years of professional experience, she attributes her success her education, wonderful parents and the Lord.

The recipient of a Ph.D. in Theology, Ms. Stanton earned a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology. A member of the Children And Family Services Center of Adams County, she serves as a chairwoman for Prince George's County Commission for Women. Ms. Stanton is the vice president of the National Black Sisters' Conference and the president of The Pennsylvania State University's Cooperative Extension. She supports Habitat for Humanity International and Doctors Without Borders.
