PHILADELPHIA, PA, May 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Rabbi Stuart N. Rosenberg, Martial Arts Master and Owner of American Hapkido & Martial Arts, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in martial arts instruction and community leadership.

A self-described lifelong student and teacher of martial arts, self-defense and spirituality, Rabbi Stuart N. Rosenberg is distinguished by his practice of incorporating both practical and spiritual components into his classes. The owner of American Hapkido & Martial Arts, he ensures the security of his students by teaching them Street Safe Martial Arts, a reality-based self-defense training method that will work on the street in all types of conditions. An ordained rabbi, Master Rosenberg also places emphasis on the life-affirming power of practicing martial arts, helping his students develop spiritually as well as physically and mentally.

Recently promoted to the rank of 7th Dan Black Belt Senior Master in Sinmoo Hapkido, Master Rosenberg takes pride in having been a pupil of Doju Ji Han Jae, founder of the World Sinmoo Hapkido Association. He has trained in other martial arts modalities over the course of his 30-year career, earning an instructor's ranking in Kali, a Filipino weapons-based system, and blue belts in Brazilian and Gaijiin Ryu Jui-Jitsu. Additionally, Master Rosenberg is a certified NRA pistol instructor, having trained in combat shooting and police tactics under such experts as Sensei Gary Moskowitz, a former NYPD officer, Dr. Bruce Eimer and John Farnham, author and defensive firearms trainer. Master Rosenberg also studied defensive weapons training, meditation techniques for healing, and visualization techniques for health and wellbeing.

Widely respected in the martial arts community, Master Rosenberg has contributed articles to numerous publications and lectured at the local and national levels. He has also been featured on Fox News, The New York Post, and CNN. He considers empowering others by sharing his knowledge to be the most vital and rewarding aspect of his work.

In addition to his ordination as a rabbi and his impressive self-defense qualifications, Master Rosenberg is a certified master electrician and a certified design engineer. He manages his own company, Philadelphia Detection Systems, and maintains active affiliation with the World Sinmoo Hapkido Association and Nefesh Beriah, of which he is a regional director.
