Rudolph B. Garrity celebrates a 30-year career in public service

LEESBURG, VA, May 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Rudolph B. Garrity, Director and Chief Executive Officer at American Learnership Forum.org, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nonprofit management.

As the director and CEO of American Learnership Forum.org, Dr. Garrity is responsible for consulting and writing on personal development, professional performance, organizational change and transformation, teaching, utilizing his extensive experience in the industry and raising money for charities. A 30-year veteran of public service for the federal government, he has built a career as an executive, project manager, principal consultant, leader in publishing and writing, and educator with professional experience in the public and private sectors. He has specialized in public administration, organizational transformation, workforce development, strategic planning, process reengineering, quality management, knowledge management, information technology architecture and systems acquisition program management. Dr. Garrity allocates his time between management consulting with a number of firms based in the Washington, DC area and serving as the Director of Learning and Assessment Programs for the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation at George Washington University. Also a part-time adjunct professor at the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation, he teaches a six-course certification program on knowledge management at the master's level. He also consults at the executive level for the United States Air Force on organizational transformation. In his spare time, he raises money for charities and spends much of his time coordinating fundraisers for the community. He works locally with wounded war veterans, women and children.

Dr. Garrity received his Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of Southern California in 1993, his Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California in 1991 and his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and Management from Monmouth University in 1973. He hopes to increase his exposure and continue the growth and development of the American Learnership Forum. He also hopes to develop online magazines and workshops to help coach people and increase the availability of coaches all over the world.
