April A. Beauregard Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
April A. Beauregard graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Science in Education
NEW DURHAM, NH, September 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- April A. Beauregard, Teacher for Valley View Community School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in elementary education.
Having been recognized by her school district for her 27 years of dedicated service to elementary education, Ms. Beauregard aims to serve as a role model for her students. At Valley View Community School, she teaches language and mathematics classes. In an effort to make her classroom academically responsive, she integrates technology into the curriculum and aids in the development of other instructors. Additionally, she is responsible for reviewing student data, conducting assessments, and participating in school committees and task forces.
In 1976, Ms. Beauregard earned an associate degree in liberal arts from Westbrook College. Six years later, she graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Education. A member of the National Education Association, she has been honored by Who's Who Among American Teachers three times. In the future, Ms. Beauregard intends to pursue a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction at Lesley University. She also hopes to publish her book entitled "Understanding Elderly Parents."
