Florbel I. Segura celebrates nearly 20 years in her profession

MIAMI, FL September 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Florbel I. Segura, M.Ed., BS, a Coral Park Elementary School teacher, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in special education.

Utilizing 20 years of experience, Ms. Segura currently teaches kindergarten and first-grade students with learning disabilities, Autism, and speech and language impairment. She is a Certified Learning Disabilities Teacher (K-12), and holds certification in elementary education (1-6), and certification in English for Speakers of Other Languages. She attributes her success to her teaching techniques, management skills, detail-oriented nature and the support she receives from the parents of her students.

Ms. Segura received a Master of Education in Elementary Education in 1996 and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education in 1989. She was listed in the 2005-2006 Edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Looking ahead, she intends to continue teaching and would like to become involved in some of the administrative aspects of her work.
