Saundra Paschal recognized for excellence in mathematics education
SAN ANGELO, TX, September 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Saundra Paschal, a mathematics teacher at Lake View High School of the San Angelo Independent School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of mathematics education.
Specialized in algebra and pre-calculus education, Saundra Paschal is an experienced teacher with nearly 30 years of experience. She has spent most of her career as a mathematics teacher for Lake View High School, of the San Angelo Independent School District, where she teaches Algebra II and Pre-calculus math classes, coaches the Mathematics Team for competition and is a member of the Curriculum Writing Team for the district. In addition, Ms. Paschal advises on books for publication and coordinates the school's Academic University Interscholastic League.
Ms. Paschal, a graduate of Angelo State University, holds a bachelor of science in mathematics with a minor in biology. She is a proud member of the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Honored with the 2000 Teacher of the Year Award, she will seek to continue her career with the San Angelo Independent School District as she moves forward.
In addition to her work in education, Ms. Paschal is a talented photographer who enjoys documenting sports teams and academic classes.
