Exceptional Executive Director Joins The Class Of Stanford Who's Who
Scott Horwitz has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his exceptional professional career.

PLANO, TX, March 3, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Scott Horwitz has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his exceptional professional career. As Executive Director of 1st Class Kids for the past 6 years, Scott has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

1st Class Kids is a nonprofit organization which promotes family togetherness by raising awareness of family issues such as childhood-obesity, family violence; abuse and neglect; while providing life-skill education to help families overcome these issues. The organization offers camps, classes, cooking expos, and workshops for schools, after-school enrichment programs, libraries, religious clubs, scouting clubs, and youth groups. They have also developed a "Food Literacy" program called "Chefsville - Kids". This program offers hands on learning for kids to empower them to make healthier food choices. Results are that families can win in their fight against obesity and its related diseases.

Mr. Horwitz is responsible for coordinating operations, developing relationships with schools and organizations, and working with children. He is also currently working on creation content for television programs and films, community involvement, community development, executive education and community outreach.

During his collegiate career, Scott earned a Doctorate degree in Practical Theology. He is a member of the Dallas Area Coalition to Prevent Childhood Obesity and the Collin County Health Care Commission. Mr. Horwitz is also a Board Member of the Remington College School of Culinary Arts and the Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind.
