Doretha L.D. Hudspeth to be Listed among Industry Leaders
Dr. Doretha Hudspeth manages the counseling department of a high school and aims to become a licensed professional counselor

DENTON, TX, May 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Doretha L.D. Hudspeth, Lead Counselor at Denton High School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in counseling.

After volunteering for an educational program and receiving a letter of thanks, Dr. Hudspeth was inspired to venture into her current line of work. She is a high school counselor with 30 years of experience and has spent the last 11 of these years with Denton High School. She manages the school's counseling department and works closely with school administration. She is also responsible for holding meetings with both students and their parents.

Dr. Hudspeth belongs to the Texas Counseling Association, Texas Association of College Admission Counselors, Texas State Teacher Association, and National Education Association. She holds a Ph.D., which she earned from Texas Woman's University in2008. Prior to this, she received a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Hudspeth has been honored by Who's Who Among American Teachers and has be recognized by the local university for mentoring master's level counseling interns. She believes that her success is a result of her supportive family and mentors. She hopes to become a licensed professional counselor and open a private practice in the future.
