MARC Pty. Ltd. is a registered training organization which offers training, scholarships and research in the fields of business, leadership, and management. They aim to positively influence the quality of learning and leadership in organizations and enhance lifelong learning in partnership with diverse communities. The business began as the Management and Research Centre more than 30 years ago. Originally it was a nonprofit organization which specialized in government training.

The educational establishment offers a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and an Advanced Diploma of Management. They also provide scholarships for every course. They are also about to launch a new program known as High Performance Leadership for Women which is self-awareness, coaching, development, wellness and wings to fly all rolled in one.

Penelope is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. Mrs. King also facilitates the Diploma of Management and is the convener of the Business Women's Coaching Network lunches. She possesses a wealth of experience across both the business and training sectors. Penelope is credited with the development of several nationally recognized business diploma courses within the private business sector.

During her collegiate career, Penelope earned a Bachelor of Education degree, Bachelor of Arts degree, and an Advanced Diploma in Management. As an accredited speaker she has won national speaking and evaluation competitions and is a recognized key note speaker at national conferences. Since 1985, Penny has been a board member of a leading South Australian import/export company.
