Gloria Ward Honored as Professional of the Year in Education
For 34 years, Ms. Ward nurtured students' intelligence in New Jersey Public Schools

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ, June 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gloria V. Ward, Retired Teacher, formerly of New Jersey Public Schools, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in education. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

"I became involved in my profession because of my desire to teach children," says Ms. Ward, who spent the entirety of her professional career working for New Jersey Public Schools. Now retired, she cites her love of helping children as her constant motivator. An expert in childhood education, Ms. Ward taught students at various grade levels, from kindergarteners through seventh graders, making an impact on each.

Ms. Ward earned a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Glasboro State College in 1972. Additionally, she is a member of Phi Delta Kappa.
