During his collegiate career, Greg earned a Bachelor's degree in Financial Administration from the University of New England, Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University, and a Diploma in the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Among his long list of achievements, he represented Australia at the 2004 World Triathlon Championships in Madeira, Portugal. In 2009, Greg biked from Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, to Kathmandu, Nepal, via Mt Everest Base Camp for the Oncology Children's Foundation, raising money and awareness to fund research for a cure for children's cancer.
