Sharon June Presnell Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Biblical Counseling
S. June Presnell helps train religious workers to provide counseling in their churches

GREENWOOD, ID, July 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- S. June Presnell, Associate Director, Counselor and Co-Founder of Rod and Staff Ministries, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in biblical counseling.

With 50 years of experience in ministry (25 of those in counseling), Ms. Presnell is a noted authority on religious education and biblical counseling. She marks her 14th year with Rod and Staff, a biblical training and counseling center through which she helps train pastors, missionaries, church leaders and church members to provide counseling in their local churches. In the complementary capacities of associate director, counselor and co-founder, she employs five levels of training in which students can observe and assist in the biblical counseling process. Level 1: Principles of Biblical Counseling, Level 2: Implementing Counseling Principles, Level 3: Examining Biblical and Secular Counseling, Level 4: NANC Theology Exam Prep, Level 5: NANC Counseling Exam Prep. Ms. Presnell and her associates believe in the power of the Gospel to bring clarity to people's lives and thus base their counseling and training programs primarily on the Bible and prayer

Ms. Presnell holds certification from The National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC) and the Christian Counseling Association. She also earned a bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Group Communications in 1989 from Trinity University. A Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Biblical Counseling in 2010, she has been featured in several magazines and has shared her expertise as a Bible teacher and guest speaker. Other organizations with which Ms. Presnell is affiliated include NANC and the International Museum of Art Alliance, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Association and various art leagues in Indiana and Florida. She attributes her success to her faith in God.
