Cambridge Who's Who Names Casimira "Kit" Kita Professional of the Year in Information Technology Consulting
Kit Kita is a pioneer in the industry, with almost five decades dedicated to her profession

FLEMING ISLAND, FL, January 31, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Casimira Kita, Senior Consultant for CGI, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Information Technology Consulting. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Ms. Kita boasts 49 years of experience in IT consulting and serves as senior consultant for CGI, an information technology company that provides software development and customer support services to business clients. In this position, she is responsible for working directly with her clients and taking care of their information technology needs and supporting their systems, including modifying the systems to fit banks' needs. Ms. Kita wrote major programs for the lending system in the 1970s.

Early in her career, she taught children with disabilities, but the stress level made her ill, so she decided to change careers and got a job in the field with a top company and progressed ever since. She attributes her success to the support of great role models when she was starting out in the industry.

Ms. Kita holds a Bachelor of Arts in education and psychology, with a minor in history, from Holy Family University and completed three years towards her master's in education at both Glassboro State and Trenton State (now named TCNJ, The College of New Jersey). Ms. Kita was one of three women to be recognized by PNC for her extensive knowledge in consumer lending systems. She was also recognized as an Honorary Senior Principal by AMS. She looks forward to continuing in the IT field, consulting and serving as a mentor.
